We are Community Engagement Workers and have been working in Adur since July 2008, identifying the wide variety of local voluntary groups and services available to older people.
Currently we are visiting groups to introduce ourselves and our role.
We can help by:
- assisting groups who wish to expand and develop
- identifying gaps in local services and helping the community to develop solutions
- encouraging people, of all ages, to volunteer for community groups
- supporting groups to link up with other groups and services
- referring older people to relevant services and agencies
