Adur Older Persons' Network is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. This site has been built to be code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code, which means any future browsers will also display it correctly.
Browsers
We've worked hard to ensure that our website can be viewed in any browser. But we recommend Firefox — the free, secure web browser from the open source community.
Downloading files
Certain documents on this website have been made available in formats suitable for you to download. You may need separate software to view and print the documents once you’ve saved them to your computer.
PDF's 
PDFs are commonly viewed using Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded free of charge from Adobe’s website. It’s available for Windows, Mac, linux and other popular operating systems.
To read PDF documents with a screen reader please reference the Access Adobe website which provides useful tools and resources. Adobe also has a free online conversion tool for PDFs.
Word documents 
Word documents can be viewed in Microsoft Word and many other word processing programs. If you don’t have access to Microsoft Word, you can download the Word Viewer from Microsoft’s website (only available for Windows).
You could also try OpenOffice, a free alternative to Microsoft Office that can open most Word documents, and is available for Window, Mac, linux and other operating systems.
